McGinest Loves Cleveland

Crennel leaned heavily on his group of experienced players to drag the team out of the doldrums last year. He'll need them more in this season of great expectations, and McGinest knows it. He feels the responsibility.

But there was another factor McGinest weighed in deciding to come back for one more season -- the city.

"I didn't know how big football was in Cleveland until I actually got here," he said. "I knew about the Dawg Pound and all the other things that come with it. But I actually see this town loves football, no matter what. It eats, sleeps and breathes football. It's exciting to be a part of that."
He doesn't know what it would be like with the Browns in the playoffs. He wants to find out.
