WOW! BROWNS WIN 51 - 45!

WOW! That's all I can say! Jamal is legit! Kellen doesn't drop the ball, and man, DA can throw! More later...

Browns 169, Bengals 154

The good: What, you mean they eventually stopped scoring? You say the Browns actually won 51-45? I was enjoying this while flipping back to the Phillies sweeping the Mets (don't worry, I'm sure the Phils will lose more than they win at St. Louis and Washington this week; it's their thing). Look, you can get on us because we didn't call this Browns scorefest. We didn't say Derek Anderson would make good in his second career, since his NBA one is over (kidding), but there's no way to know. Just no way. It's too improbable. In Week 1 Chris Brown leads the league in rushing. Now it's Jamal Lewis. This is why they play the games. I predicted the Bengals would have no trouble scoring in Cleveland. They didn't. Palmer has eight touchdowns in two weeks, a pace for 64 this season. I think he'll fall short, but honestly, with that defense, every week could be an adventure. He's Peyton, Rudi Johnson is a stud like Joseph Addai, and Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh are Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. I'm serious. If the Browns can do this against Cincinnati's D, I want Matt Hasselbeck and friends next week when the Bengals visit, and in Week 6 you'll want to have traded for Larry Johnson when he welcomes the Bengals to Kansas City. Plan ahead.

The bad: What could we possibly complain about? Oh, if we had the Bengals defense in our lineups. Hey, I did, too. One more thing: This certainly doesn't accelerate the Brady Quinn era, not like that would help fantasy, though.

What else: Gotta give credit to the Browns, who do have two significant talents catching the ball in Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards. I said it last week: I'd start both no matter who's slingin' the ball. I expect little, to be honest, from Anderson and Lewis going forward, so be careful in expectations there, but Winslow and Edwards I trust. The Browns actually have a tough schedule in the next month, with the Raiders (not so tough), Ravens, Patriots and Dolphins. Lewis is already owned, but I wouldn't drop anyone important to get Anderson.
